Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where our team will meet and transfer you to a luxury city hotel like Hemingways Nairobi or Villa Rosa Kempinski. Enjoy a welcome briefing and relax after your journey. If time allows, explore the city’s highlights with optional visits to the Giraffe Centre or the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner as you prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

Day 2-3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most iconic wildlife reserve. Upon arrival, check into a luxury tented camp such as Mara Serena Safari Lodge or Entim Mara Camp.

Spend the next two days on thrilling game drives across the vast plains, searching for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Depending on the season (July-October), witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.

Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering breathtaking aerial views of the reserve, followed by a champagne breakfast, or a visit to a Maasai village for a cultural experience.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Maasai Mara and journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingo-lined shores and rhino sanctuary. Upon arrival, check in at a scenic lodge like The Cliff Nakuru or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, where you can spot endangered black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and leopards. The picturesque landscapes and abundant birdlife make this a photographer’s paradise.

Day 5-6: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, check in at Tortilis Camp or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Spend two days exploring the park through morning and afternoon game drives, tracking elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of plains game. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the savannah and watch wildlife gather around the seasonal swamps.

Enjoy a sundowner experience against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and, if you wish, embark on a guided nature walk to learn about the park’s diverse ecosystem.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi & Departure

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before driving back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, there is an option for last-minute souvenir shopping at the Kazuri Beads Centre or the Maasai Market.

You will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable 7-day Classic Big Five Safari.
