Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to a luxury city hotel such as Hemingways Nairobi or Villa Rosa Kempinski.

After check-in, relax and recover from your journey. If time allows, explore Nairobi’s highlights, including the Giraffe Centre and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a detailed safari briefing to prepare for your Great Migration adventure.

Day 2: Fly to Maasai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

After an early breakfast, take a scenic flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous wildlife destination and the heart of the Great Migration (seasonal: July–October). Upon landing, a private guide will greet you and transfer you to a luxurious safari camp, such as Angama Mara, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, or Mara Plains Camp.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, tracking the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—while witnessing thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains. Enjoy a sundowner as the African sun sets over the horizon.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari – Great Migration River Crossing
